• Why use Wick?

  Wick brings Timers, Stopwatches, and Alarms together in a single native Mac app. With menu bar and lock screen integration, everything you need is always just a glance away. It also integrates with Alcove, putting your active Timers right on your Lock Screen.

• Will Wick work forever?

  Wick relies on specific Apple private APIs to function. Apple may change or remove these APIs at any time, which could break Wick. That being said, these APIs have remained functional for many years.

• How much does Wick cost?

  Wick is free :) Download it and try it out.

• How can I support Wick?

  There is no monetary way to support Wick right now. We would appreciate it if you told a friend, reported bugs, or joined our Discord.

• Where can I submit bug reports or feature requests?

  You can report bugs by creating an issue on our GitHub, or by joining our Discord!

• Why is Wick not open source?

  Wick is an independent project. Because it is built to feel like a natural part of Alcove, it relies on the same private APIs that create Alcove. Open sourcing it would expose that work and make it easier for other notch apps to copy Alcove, so for now Wick stays closed source.

• What macOS versions does Wick support?

  Wick supports macOS Sequoia (15) and later.
